At NPay, we take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from users of the NPay app who are over the age of 18.

When you onboarding the NPay app, we may collect :

• Email address
• Personal Data [full name, personal identification code or number]
• ID document data [document type, issuing country, ID number, expiry date]
• Proof of Address document data [bills]
• And other similar identifying information and other similar documents

When you use on the NPay app, we may collect :

• Technical data [software and hardware attributes (camera and device name)]
• Geolocation data [IP address and general geographic location from Data Subject’s device]
• Cryptocurrency wallet addresses and trx data

We may also collect information about your use of the NPay app, such as transaction history and device information. The legal ground for collecting this information is to fulfill our contractual obligations to you as a user of the NPay app.

Use of Information

We use your personal information to provide you with the NPay app services, to communicate with you about your account, and to send you promotional offers and updates about the NPay app. We may also use your information for research and analysis purposes, to improve the NPay app services, and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. The legal ground for using your information is to fulfill our contractual obligations to you as a user of the NPay app, as well as our legitimate interests in improving and promoting the NPay app.

Disclosure of Information

We may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers who help us operate the NPay app, such as  Sum&Substance: (https://sumsub.com) for KYC/AML verification; Twilio sendgrid: (https://www.sendgrid.com) for email authentication, BitGo : (https://www.bitgo.com) for Custodial service. We may also disclose your information to law enforcement agencies or other third parties if we are required to do so by law or if we believe that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the rights of others. Your information may also be disclosed in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.

We will take steps to ensure that any third parties who receive your information will keep it confidential and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

International Transfer of Information

Your personal information may be transferred to and stored on servers located in jurisdictions outside of your own country. By using the NPay app, you consent to the transfer of your information to such jurisdictions.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information that we have collected. Fraud, Phishing, and Email Scams

We will never request your NPay account password or other confidential information through unsolicited email or other means of communication. If you receive an email or other communication that looks suspicious, do not respond or click on any links or attachments. Instead, please forward the email or communication to help@npay.io

Legal Grounds for Collecting

We process your personal information for three legal grounds which include contractual obligations to provide NPay app services and communicate with users about their accounts, compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations, and pursuing our legitimate interests in improving and promoting the NPay app. This includes conducting research and analysis to enhance its features and functionality, detecting and preventing fraudulent or unauthorized use, and sending promotional offers and updates.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated privacy policy on the NPay app. Your continued use of the NPay app after any changes to this privacy policy indicates your agreement to the updated privacy policy.
